The RESTORE Method

A five-stage approach to helping mums feel like themselves again after kids.

The RESTORE Method is the foundation of everything I do at Balance with Tracey. It blends supportive movement, pelvic floor education, nervous-system-aware coaching and realistic routines to help you rebuild from the inside out.

Reconnect

This is where we begin.

Reconnect is about rebuilding awareness of your breath, core, pelvic floor and how your body feels now.

Before we push harder, we slow down enough to listen and connect back with our body.

This stage helps you feel less confused, less disconnected and more at home in your body again and is a vital step in the RESTORE method.

Regulate

So many mums are trying to build routines from a place of exhaustion, stress and nervous-system overload.

Regulate is about supporting your energy, stress levels and capacity so movement starts to feel helpful, not like another thing to add to your to do list.

Rebuild

Once we’ve started reconnecting and regulating, we can begin rebuilding strength.

This stage uses Pilates-based movement, supportive strength work, core and pelvic-floor-aware progressions, and realistic challenge to help your body feel stronger and more capable.

This is where we add strength, spice and burn but now it's from a body that feels supported.

Routine

A routine only works if it fits the life you’re actually living.

This stage is about building movement and wellbeing rhythms that work around motherhood, energy, work, childcare and busy schedules.

It is time to build consistency and a routine that works for YOUR life.

Rise

Rise is about confidence, identity and feeling more like you again.

Not going back to who you were before kids, but feeling grounded in this version of yourself.

This is the stage where you stop chasing the old version of you and begin trusting the woman you are now.

Deeper growth, mindset work and nervous system regulation all come into play here.
