Hi I'm Tracey, founder of Balance with Tracey.
With over 10 years’ experience in the fitness industry, I support mums through Pilates, strength, and mindful movement designed to fit real life and changing energy.
As a mum myself, I understand how difficult it can be to prioritise your own wellbeing while caring for others. My work is rooted in helping women feel stronger, steadier, and more connected to their bodies in a way that feels realistic, supportive, and sustainable.
At Balance with Tracey, I offer personalised 1:1 sessions and small group classes focused on motherhood-friendly movement. My approach looks beyond exercise alone. It's about building trust in your body, moving with intention, and finding a rhythm that supports you through every stage of motherhood.
My Story
My journey into the world of fitness is deeply rooted in my personal experiences. As a teenager, I struggled with a challenging relationship with food and exercise, grappling with extremes rather than finding balance. This journey shaped my perspective and fueled my passion for helping others discover true health and wellness.
After spending years in traditional gym environments, I realised that pushing harder, extremes, and all-or-nothing thinking didn’t support long-term health , especially for women navigating motherhood. I’m far more interested in working with the body rather than against it, using movement to build strength and confidence in a way that feels sustainable. As a mum myself, I understand how energy, identity, and priorities shift, which is why my work focuses on gentle, effective, nervous-system-aware movement that helps women feel more at home in their bodies, without guilt or pressure.
